Bought this as a second TV for the house, and it’s done the job quite nicely. The picture is crisp, sound is plenty loud for the small room it is in, and it looks nice and sleek.

The only issue I’ve had is that every once in a while, the TV will start to fade to white and then stay all white. Turning the TV off and back on takes care of this. This happens once every few months (so certainly not a real issue) and I’m not sure if it’s a problem with this TV model, or just the one I purchased. This also only happens when using the HDMI input (as far as I’ve experienced).

Review : Philips 32PFL3403D/27 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV :

I’ve been through a few different televisions in the search for a satisfactory 32″ HDTV, and after exchanging a Vizio or two, finally ended up sticking with this one. The television is attractive without drawing attention to it, and the only time any notification lights are active is when the television is turned on, when a very small white LED in the bottom-right corner of the unit glows. There is an abundance of ports for its size (including 3 HDMI), and it is pretty lightweight for transport – it can easily be moved by one person, and feels pretty solid.

The 42LH50 LG 42-inch LCD HDTV is now one of the few LCD HDTV on the market that can stream content from Netflix. Once connected to the Internet via a LAN cable (there is no built-in Wi-Fi capabilities), and if you’re a Netflix subscriber, you can instantly watch any of the thousands of films that are available from the collection of Netflix.

42LH50 The new LG 42-inch LCD HDTV comes with Yahoo Widgets, where you can access a variety of information such as weather information, press cuttings, Twitter and so on. You can also view YouTube content on this HDTV. Unfortunately, the quality of YouTube videos is not very good and Cana?? T access the HD for YouTube videos. However, Yahoo Widgets and the functionality of YouTube on this model have been very responsive, making it much more pleasant to use than other models HDTV market.

Besides these features cool extras, the 42LH50 LG 42 inch LCD HDTV is a television series very competent. It has a sleek and simple, with a glossy black frame and clean lines. The screen is based on a swivel stand that can be rotated in different directions. This model is one of TV’s most customizable I’ve ever seen. You can change almost all settings of the image you can imagine (including color temperature, 10 checkpoints of the white balance, color filters and much more). There are also 9 display mode of images to choose from. In terms of image quality, the 42LH50 LG 42 inch LCD HDTV may not be the best in the market, but does a good job playing DVD and Blu-ray.

We bought this to hang outside in our new summer kitchen and it has a nice picture and we are very pleased. My only gripe, and it’s VERY minimal, is that we couldn’t figure out how to remove the round part under the TV that connects it to the base. So when it’s hanging on the wall, that looks a little dumb, but not a huge deal.
